Friday results from Warren County
Both Warren County Varsity teams continued their winning ways Friday night with big wins over Taliferro County. The Screaming Devils played to a sparse home crowd as most fans were already looking ahead to tonight's match with the Bulldogs of Hancock Central.
The Lady Devils kicked off the night with their third consecutive win by posting a score of 60-33. Leading Scorers for the Devils were Quavoncia Walker with 21 and Candice Warthen with 20. Quavoncia was deadly shooting from the outside
scoring with several three pointers. Warthen continued her stellar freshman year by using her exceptional speed and ball handling to apply constant pressure to the Jaguars. Kenvetta Reese contributed with 8 points of her own while Somone Hordens and Lashundria Reynolds provided excellent defense and rebounding play.

The Devils followed the girl's win with a dominating performance in the second half of the double-header. The Varsity Boy's team won 86-64. Tommy Seals led the scoring with 33 points. Seals proved deadly in shooting from the outside as he seemingly made every three point shot that he attempted. Seals also had 7 steals on the evening. C.J. Williams and Travis Burley were also in double-digit
scoring on the evening with 17 and 16 points respectively. Williams led the team in rebounds with ten, four of which came on offense. Burley was not far behind with eight rebounds, five of those coming on offense. Burley, the CSRA's second leading shot blocker, added four blocks to his season total.

Coach Wallace, while impressed with the shooting performance his team put in, stated the Devils will have to play even better tonight against Hancock. Get there early for tonight's action. The Warren/Hancock games are sure to be a sellout every time they meet!
