It appears that Friday's victory will be the last of the season for the Warren County boys. The Screaming Devils earned the number 3 seed out of their sub-region and were scheduled to face Hancock Central in the region tournament in Wilkinson County Wednesday night. All efforts were made to work with the members of Region 7 to swap seeds with Taliaferro County, thus giving Warren County the 4 seed and setting up a first round match-up with Wilkinson County instead of Hancock. Unfortunately, those efforts fell on deaf ears. As of Monday morning, the decision was made by Warren County officials to forfeit the game against Hancock Central.
