Ground Broken on New Stadium

Ground was broken on the new stadium at Warren County Middle and High School today. Construction began on the footings and foundation of the concession stand and restrooms. Plans are to have both completed by the end of May.

Work on the actual field is expected to begin around the first of May. One hundred and ten truck loads of sand will be used to construct the playing field. Work on the grading, irrigation system, and grass installation is hoped to be completed by the first part of June, allowing plenty of time for the grass to grow in before the first game.

The bleachers and press box have been ordered and are expected to be completed and installed by the middle of August. Enough seating has been planned to accomodate two thousand spectators.
