The Screaming Devils entered Friday night's game against Glascock County looking to make it three wins in a week for Warren County Schools. Warren County Middle School started the football week off with an impressive victory over Washington County Middle School by the score of 24-10. The Screaming Devils followed that up with a 14-7 victory over Lincoln County on Thursday by a very short handed J.V. team. The Devils made the short trip to Gibson to cap off the week and gave their fans plenty to cheer about.

Warren County won the toss and elected to begin the game on defense. Stedman Hall kicked off for the Devils and Glascock began their first drive on their own 35 yard line. Warren County quickly got an idea of how the night would go when the Panthers fumbled the ball on their second play from scrimmage and Kelveonta Veasley recovered for the Devils. Three plays later, Jermaine Berry connected with My'Kuan Loney for an 18 yard touchdown pass for the first score of the night. Berry again threw to Loney for the two point conversion and the Devils took an early 8-0 lead with 10:10 to go in the first quarter.

The Panthers would answer to tie the score in the second quarter. Cole Moye connected with Nick Tyler for a 52 yard pass deep into Warren County territory. After converting on 4th down with a 6 yard pass, Moye took it to the end zone himself for the lone score of the night for Glascock. The two point conversion would tie the score at 8-8 with 3:20 to go in the 2nd quarter.

The tie score would last for only seconds. Timothy Seals took the ensuing kickoff 71 yards to answer right back for the Devils. Collins would again go to Loney through the air for the two point conversion, making the score 16-8.

Jarvis Collins put on a passing clinic to close out the last 38 seconds of the first half. Collins went 4-5 through the air in the series, including a 37 yard pass to sophomore, Kentravious Brinkley. Collins capped the drive with a 6 yard pass to Loney for a touchdown as time expired in the half with the Devils leading 22-8.

Timothy Seals would score twice more in the 2nd half as the Devils kept the ball on the ground and out of the hands of the Panthers as they ran down the clock. Coach Freeman used the 4th quarter as an opportunity to get in some playing time for the younger Devils while watching the clock wind down on a 38-8 victory.

Seals led all rushers with 184 yards on 15 carries. The kickoff return for a touchdown brought Seals' total all purpose yards up to 255 yards, a career high. Jarvis Collins rushed for 39 yards on 10 carries, and Kentavious Griffin carried for 15 yards on 2 carries.

The Devils relied on the arms of both Berry and Collins to combine for a total of 100 yards through the air. Berry went 2 for 5 for 21 yards and one touchdown, while Collins went 6 for 7 for 79 yards and one touchdown.

Both quarterbacks managed to spread the ball around to four receivers. My'Kuan Loney had three receptions for 30 yards and two touchdowns. Jermaine Berry, Kentravious Brinkley, and David Wilburn also contributed with receptions.

Warren County will again be on the road next week as they travel to Macon to take on the Trojans of Tattnall Square Academy.
